Apple announced the advanced version of the operating system which is iOS 15 in June 2021, which would be launched in the fall. iOS 15 introduces advanced features for FaceTime calls, distraction-reduction tools, a new notification experience, full redesigns of Safari, Weather, and Maps along with added privacy features.

iOS 15 Release Date:

As Apple has scheduled an event for September 14, you might see iOS 15 arrive alongside the iPhone 13.


How To Download And Install The iOS 15 Beta?

For the time being, iOS 15 is only available as a preview beta release for developers and public beta testers. iOS 15 beta can be downloaded from the Apple Developer Center.


Developers may also use this beta testing phase to support the new operating system and incorporate new iOS 15 capabilities into their apps.


In June 2015, iOS 15 becomes publicly available, Apple will most likely send you a notice informing you that you may update. You may also do it manually by heading to Settings > General > Software Update.

Now, you can share TV episodes, music, and movies along with your screen to let recipients know how to use the app. And, you can do all these things with the new cool feature of iOS 15, SharePlay.


You may also extend SharePlay to an AppleTV, which is very useful when watching a movie. Because this is also an API, an app will be able to use it very soon.


SharePlay for iOS 15 is used by supported services such as Disney+, Twitch, ESPN, TikTok, and others.

FaceTime Improvements

Apple has updated FaceTime in iOS 15 to make it easier to connect with family and friends while also enhancing voice and picture quality.


Spatial audio is on the way, which means that 3D audio will give your receivers the sense that they are in the same room as you.


Voice isolation now focuses just on your voice and filters out any other background noise. There’s also Wide Spectrum, which focuses on you and your surroundings.


Notifications have been revamped for iOS 15 after many years of refining. In iOS 15, Notification Summary is now available. Users can schedule notifications to appear at specific times.


This appears to be a replacement for Notification Center, providing greater control of all alerts on your iPhone.

Apple Wallet

iOS 15 will come with an upgraded version of Apple Wallet. Moreover, the CarKey adding U1 support would allow you to unlock your car or even access your trunk.


There’s also the possibility to use Wallet to access your office or home, and hotels like Hyatt will soon offer this functionality for iOS 15-enabled smartphones.
